Coat Measuring Guide

1. Shoulder:

Stand straight and relax your shoulders. Place the measuring tape at the edge of one shoulder and stretch it across to the other shoulder, following the curve of your upper back.

Tip: Ensure the tape is straight and snug but not tight.

2. Chest:

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, usually just under your armpits and across your shoulder blades. Keep your arms relaxed at your sides.

Tip: Leave one or two fingers under the tape for a comfortable fit.

3. Waist:

Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your torso, typically above the belly button.

Tip: Don’t suck in your stomach or tighten the tape too much; allow for a natural fit.

4. Sleeve Length:

Start at the edge of your shoulder and run the tape down along the outside of your arm to your wrist bone.

Tip: Bend your elbow slightly for an accurate measurement that allows room for movement.

5.Coat Length:

Begin at the highest point of your shoulder, near the base of your neck, and measure straight down to your desired coat length.

Tip: For longer coats, stop at the mid-thigh, knee, or wherever you prefer the coat to end.

Tip: Stand with your feet together to avoid mismeasurement.

3. Inseam:

Tip: Wear shoes to determine the correct length, especially for tailored or formal pants.

Start from the top of your waistband and measure straight down along the side of your leg to the desired length.

Tip: Measure while wearing pants that fit you well for better accuracy.
